Graphic Designer / Web Designer

US: Founded in 1995, MHG Design Ltd. is a multi-disciplinary agency specialising in design-led marketing solutions for our clients – small independent start-ups through to blue chip multi-nationals. We are a small friendly team who enjoy a good social working atmosphere, based in a large open-plan warehouse in Balham, South London.

YOU: A creative superhero, with at least 4 years agency experience, a thorough knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, and strong understanding of design for print. You also have an enthusiasm for web design and an ability to work in both disciplines when creating your designs and artwork. You have good English language skills, are well organised, punctual, with a ‘can do’ attitude and a good eye for detail. You are happy liaising directly with clients, both in person, over the phone and by email. You don’t have a problem working to deadlines and can interpret written briefs and take art direction.

THE JOB: You will be working as part of a small team of designers on both print and web projects. You will be responsible for taking projects from concept to delivery, combining strong creative ideas with excellent art working skills to turn out stunning work that is accurate time after time.

SKILLS: We are seeking designers with eye-catching portfolios as well as a commercial track record in both graphic and web design. Experience covering some or all of the following would be ideal...

• Graphical composition, typography, visual communications.
• Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign CS.
• Designing wire frames.
• Designing front end graphs, user interfaces and online advertising.
• HTML / CSS / JS.
• A passion for technology, gadgets, social media, advertising photography and design.

Salary 25-35k depending upon experience.
