Terms & conditions

  1. This Promotion is open to UK residents aged 18 or over only.
  2. Employees or agents of the Promoter or any of its group companies or their families or households or anyone professionally connected to this Promotion are not eligible to enter.
  3. If you purchase three new Samsung Original Toner Cartridges, you will receive a free Samsung SPP 2020 Photo Printer (while stocks last) and you will also be entered into one of two Prize Draws to win a Samsung S86 Series 40“ LCD TV/HT-XQ100R Surround Sound System.
  4. If you purchase five new Samsung Original Toner Cartridges, you will receive a free Samsung Digimax S500 Digital Camera (while stocks last) and you will also be entered into one of two Prize Draws to win a Samsung S86 Series 40” LCD TV/HT-XQ100R Surround Sound System.
  5. If you purchase eight new Samsung Original Toner Cartridges, you will receive a free Samsung SPF-72H Digital Photo Frame (while stocks last) and you will also be entered into one of two Prize Draws to win a Samsung S86 Series 40“ LCD TV/HT-XQ100R Surround Sound System.
  6. These offers only apply to the purchase of new (not second-hand) Samsung Original Toner Cartridges from Any Samsung Supplies Reseller in the UK between 1st September 2007 and 31st January 2008.
  7. Only one free item per qualifying purchase and customer. This Promotion is only available to end-users.
  8. Forms for claiming the free items and for entering into the Prize Competition can either be obtained online at www.samsung.com/uk/tonerpromo or from THP Management, 14 Corve Street, Ludlow SY8 1DA. 08707 550 225. To claim your free item and to enter into the Prize Competition, complete the form by inserting your name, company, email address, address, daytime contact phone number and date of birth, accompanied by original proof of purchase (e.g Receipt, Invoice, Online confirmation) from Any Samsung Supplies Reseller in the UK and complete the first and second stages of the Prize Competition referred to below.
  9. Prize Competition First Stage: Entrants must provide the answer to the multiple-choice question set out on the form.
  10. Prize Competition Second Stage: Entrants must use their skill and ingenuity to answer the tie-breaker question on the form “How does your Samsung Printer improve your life?” Answers must be 15 words or less.
  11. Forms must be completed in full and sent to the Promoter by any of the following methods:
    • a. Online at www.samsung.com/uk/tonerpromo
    • b. By post to Samsung Toner Promotion, THP Management, 14 Corve Street, Ludlow SY8 1DA; or
    • c. By fax to 01584 878733 marked "Samsung Toner Promotion".
  12. The free item will be dispatched by courier to the addresses of the respective claimants, as provided by them in their form, within 28 days of a form being received and receipt of proof of purchase. All free items are subject to availability and there are no cash alternatives.
  13. For the Prize Competition, entrants who have submitted their entries by the Closing Date(s) and who have answered the questions referred to in the First Stage correctly will go forward into the Second Stage of the Promotion.
  14. In the Second Stage the winners will be determined by an independent adjudicator. The adjudicator shall determine the winner(s) on the basis of which answers to the tie-breaker(s) they consider to be the most original and worthy, based upon the skill and ingenuity of their content. The decision(s) of the adjudicator will be final and the Promoter will not enter into any correspondence about the results.
  15. There will be two prize draws each of which will win a S86 Series 40“ LCD TV /HT-XQ100R Surround Sound System as the prize.
    • Prize Draw 1 Purchases made up to 30th November 2007. Closing Date for receipt of completed forms 14th December 2007
    • Prize Draw 2 Purchases made up to 31st January 2008. Closing Date for receipt of completed forms 15th February 2008
  16. Forms received after the Closing Date will not be eligible for the free items or for entering into the Prize Competition(s).
  17. Entries are limited to one per individual. In the event that a person enters more than one entry then the Promoter shall disqualify any entries received after the first entry. Maximum one prize per person.
  18. The Promoter will use its reasonable endeavours to notify the winners in writing or by email or telephone within 7 days of the decision of the judges.
  19. The winners must confirm receipt of notification of winning within 7 days of the notification (and will be asked to either confirm their UK address as given on their entry form or to provide an alternative UK address for delivery of their prize).
  20. If any of the winners do not respond as described in clause 19 above, the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify them, in which event the winner(s) shall be person whose tie-breaker was next highest ranked by the judges out of the entries. Such person will be notified by telephone or email and asked to confirm within a specified time-limit whether they wish to accept the prize. If any replacement winner fails to confirm within such time-limit then the provisions of this clause shall apply to that replacement winner in the same way as if they were the original winner.
  21. First prize(s) will be delivered to his/her home address. Any necessary phone, TV, cable, satellite and electricity connections are not provided.
  22. There are no cash alternatives to the prizes. In the event that all or part of the prize is unavailable then the Promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative prize of equivalent value. The prizes are not transferable.
  23. Entries must not be made through agents or third parties.
  24. The names and towns of residence of the winners will be published at www.samsung.com/uk/tonerpromo between 15th December 2007 and 15th April 2008 and will be available after that date upon receipt of a written request, together with a stamped addressed envelope, to Samsung Toner Promotion, THP Management, 14 Corve Street, Ludlow SY8 1DA. The winners may be required to take part in publicity and, by entering this Promotion, you are deemed to consent to such publicity.
  25. The Promoter, acting reasonably, reserves the right to change the panel of judges without notice, or to appoint more judges and the identity of the judges will be made available to anyone upon request to Samsung Toner Promotion, THP Management, 14 Corve Street, Ludlow SY8 1DA.
  26. The Promoter, acting reasonably, reserves the right to delay the timing of the notification of and/or the publication of the name and town of residence of the winners.
  27. The Promoter shall have the right, where necessary, to undertake all such action as is reasonable to protect itself against fraudulent or invalid claims including, without limitation, to require further verification as to the identity, age and other relevant details of an entrant or claimant and/or the verification as to their qualifying purchase before sending to the claimant the free item.
  28. The Promoter shall not be responsible for lost, misdirected, illegible, late, mutilated or altered forms or accompanying documentation.
  29. The Promoter shall not be liable for any interruption to this Promotion whether due to force majeure or other factors beyond the Promoter’Äôs control.
  30. The Promoter reserves the right, acting reasonably and in accordance with all relevant legislation and codes of practice, to vary the terms and conditions of this Promotion.
  31. The decision of the Promoter, acting reasonably, is final. The Promoter reserves the right at its absolute discretion to disqualify entries into the Prize Competition or any claims for free items which it considers do not comply with these terms and conditions or any entrant who it reasonably believes has interfered with the fair running of this Promotion and/or the results thereof. In the event that a claim is disqualified then the claimant shall return any free item received under this Promotion to the Promoter immediately on request.
  32. This offer for free items cannot be used in conjunction with any other Samsung promotion.
  33. By entering this Promotion you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
  34. This Promotion is governed by English law.
  35. Instructions form part of these terms and conditions.
